Junior Golf

Our Junior Golf Program is one of the top programs in Oakland County.  Whether your child is just starting out,or your child is looking to compete at the highest level, our teaching professionals will accomplish your child's goals.

Mark White, Head Golf Teaching Professional is the Head Golf Coach at Notre Dame Prep, which just won the Michigan State Championship.

George Bowman, Head Golf Professional, who has played in two national PGA championships, and is regarded in the area as one of the top players in the state of Michigan

Junior Tennis

Our Junior Tennis Program is offers several options for your child.  We offer a Summer Junior Tennis Camp, and if your child is looking to compete, they can play on the Oakhurst Aces tennis team.  The Oakhurst Aces competes against country clubs throughout Oakland County.

Mary Jo Colonna, Head Tennis Teaching Professional, has long been recognized as one of the top coaches and players in the state.  She played for Eastern Michigan University from 1977 to 1982 and was an All Mid-American Conference Champion (MAC) for three years.

Mary Jo has an outstanding record of developing numerous district (SEMTA), Midwest and Nationally ranked players including five state high school champions.  Mary Jo loves to work with all levels of experience especially students in the early to middle development stages.  Mary Jo has a true passion for the game of tennis and motivates her student’s to be their best.

Junior Swim

The Oakhurst Junior Swim Team, H2 Oaks, is a competive swim team that allows your child to compete against other country clubs throughout South East Michigan.  The H2 Oaks swim team has won many championships, and if your child wants to learn and compete at a high level, than this program is for you.

Mike Rado, Head Swim Coach, is also the Head Swim Team Coach at Bloomfield Hills High.  Mike has been with Oakhurst since 1999.

Rado is a former Michigan State University All-American, and has coached many Olympic swimmers.
